**CONTEXT**
Richemont is advancing in its strong pioneering ambition to transform its business model towards New Retail. The group is pursuing its strong development into the digitization of its commerce value chain, relying on the strategic partnerships with Alibaba Group and Farfetch.
Richemont has a strong ambition to transition to a New Retail business model which will be heavily powered by Data. In this context, the Group has established a global data strategy which is currently being implemented by the Group Data Office. In particular, the Group is investing in state-of-the-art cloud-based data architecture and infrastructure which is hosting multiple data projects of its Maisons and entities.
**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**
The Data Governance Lead will lead the definition and deployment of the Group Data Governance together with the business and technology representatives in order to ensure data quality, integrity, availability and security. The scope will include (but not be limited to):
- Roll out the Group Data Governance Framework
- Coordinate with Group Functions, Divisions and Maisons to deploy data owners and data stewards’ roles for critical data
- Design and deploy consistent Data Management processes across system to ensure data quality
- Design and deploy the Data Quality Framework along with the tooling to monitor critical data, starting with Master Data
- Launch Data Quality assessment initiatives with Maisons and Group Functions to support strategic data projects
- Support Group Function, Regional and Maisons Master Data team on data quality monitoring and cleansing.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of data source of truth and work with the Data Platform team to ensure consistent data documentation and lineage of available assets.
- Work closely with the Data Compliance team, Group Tech and Group Security to support access management processes.
- Update and adapt Group Data Governance according to business needs, regulations and technologies
- Define performance indicators and quality measures to ensure alignment with standards and roles and responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities related to Data Quality to facilitate business initiatives
- Animate the community of data governance, master data and data quality representatives in Maisons, Group Functions and Regions
**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?**
You are a qualified professional with 8+ years of data governance/ data management experience with a leading player in the field. You hold a Master's degree in data science, engineering, statistics, Information systems, MBA is a plus
You are an expert in Data Governance and/or Data Quality and/or Master Data Management including industry best practices, using data tools and technology, strategic project development and implementation planning skills.
You have experience on Customer, Product, Supply Chain and Manufacturing data. You have experience with SAP environments and SAP master data.
You have a strong knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance framework, such as but not limited to DAMA DMBOK or CDQ Data Excellence Model.
You understand the importance of a solid Data Framework and the criticality and impact on business processes
In term of soft skills, you are a self-starter, able to operate in a changing environment, capable of seeing the big strategic picture, but also of stepping into operational details when required.
You have strong communication skills, the capacity to build relationships at a senior level as well as the ability to function in complex situations meeting and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
You speak English, French is a strong plus. Willing to travel on a regular basis (30% or more)
