**This position reports to**:
Digital Lead, Motion System Drives

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defines the strategy and vision for the user-, engineering
- and simulation tools for the Motion System Drives product portfolio.
- Defines a Strategy for EMT, RMS, HIL and SIL simulation models for products of Motion System Drives.
- Defines our Vision of our simulation models for the product of Motion System Drives Division
- Creates the vision and the transition roadmap for the user & engineering tool landscape.
- Productizes the simulation offering and ensures maintenance of virtual drive solution.
- Acts as interface between external market and internal functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, and Research & Development) to identify existing models and define how to be used.
- Prioritizes requirements in development projects with responsibility for achievement of targets (product characteristics, time, costs, capital expenditure, pay-back) and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Owns and approves defined offering development process stage gates.
- Initiates and drives market communication strategy, including market launch planning and implementation.
- Defines customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensures clear communication to channels and users, to deliver clear offering positioning within the portfolio with defined values per offering line.

**Your background**:

- 5-8+ years of experience working with Simulation Models.
- Minimum Master’s degree in Engineering discipline.
- Ability to collect customer needs and define/prioritize product requirements.
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink/PSCAD/ETAP and other graphical extensions.
- Knowledge of FMI/FMU (Functional Mockup Interface / Functional Mockup Unit).
- Experience with programming (Python/C/C++).
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
- High quality organizational and leadership skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Fluent English language skills.
