**Job Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Avaloq’s Corporate Strategy team.
The Group Strategy team is mainly responsible for the development of Avaloq’s strategy and mid-term plan, driving of high-impact strategic initiatives, incl. strategic partnerships and M&A, facilitating and tracking of strategy execution across business areas, and providing advice and support to the Group Executive Board.
In this role, you will get the opportunity to work on exciting challenges and contribute to the success of Avaloq while working with a talented and highly motivated team that is passionate about shaping the future of the private banking and wealth management industry with Avaloq.
- What will you do:_
- Support the development of the company strategy and mid-term financial plan
- Work with senior management to define objectives and derive strategic initiatives
- Enable business areas to execute strategic initiatives and facilitate tracking of progress
- Contribute to the evaluation of strategic opportunities, incl. acquisitions, investments, and partnerships
- Drive and support the execution of high-impact company-wide strategic initiatives and projects
- Prepare presentations and support senior management meetings, incl. strategy offsites and board meetings
- Develop and maintain market and competitive intelligence
**Qualifications**:
- You have at least a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree with strong record of academic achievement
- You bring 3+ years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting or other strategy-related corporate roles, preferably with an affinity to the financial services and technology industry
- You have a “getting things done” attitude and are able to deliver high-quality and fact-based results in a demanding environment with tight deadlines
- You can clearly structure and confidently articulate complex topics, both written and oral, to internal and external stakeholders across levels of seniority
- You can effectively work and build strong relationships with colleagues from different backgrounds across all levels of an organization and in multiple locations
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- You are fluent in English (German would be useful but is not required)
