**About the department**

Novo Nordisk Pharma AG is the Swiss Affiliate, with over 70 employees, located at the Circle, Zurich Airport. The Swiss Affiliate belongs to Region North West Europe, which is part of IO (International Operations). This newly created position is reporting to Senior Director Market Access & Public Affairs.

**The position**

In this position you will be responsible for development of internal and external communication strategy to enhance Novo Nordisk reputation both internal and external. You will drive and expand our network of media contacts and other key stakeholders to improve our media coverage (reach, tone and message pick-up). You will support Public Affairs and Disease Area teams to create public awareness of the severity of the diseases.

Your responsibilities include:

- External communication of value of medicines, programs, partnerships and employer branding
- Organization of media events
- Identifying any potential business threats and opportunities related to our company and our brands and develops corresponding communication plans
- Collaborating and supporting Public Affairs team and Business Unit on activities related to obesity
- Participating in Global Communicators Network (GCN) and Regional Comms Group to keep current on key projects and sharing best practice
- Cross-functional support and coordination of digital activities

**Qualifications**
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication or journalism
- You have gained experience in PR, media, corporate communication or journalism, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- You have excellent written & verbal communications skills
- You are experienced in utilising and evaluating social media, website content and internal social media e.g., Yammer
- You are fluent in German, French and English
- Existing media contacts and relationships are a plus
