**Business Overview** The Corporate Coverage Team in Switzerland comprises Pilot Team, MNC Team and Senior Credit Advisor. Managing relationship with all Swiss Corporate Clients. **Position Description** You report to the CEO of CIB Switzerland and to Head of Corporate Coverage EMEA. You implement the organization and strategy of Corporate Coverage in your country. You will be a Member of Corporate & Institutional Banking Switzerland Executive Committee. **Key Responsibilities** - Line Manager of Pilot Team MDs, Directors and VPs, Head of MNC as well as the Senior Credit Advisor. You evaluate and mentor team members to ensure optimal performance (achievement of commercial targets) and career development. - In your client responsibilities, you meet regularly with clients at C-Level. - Validation of corporate client strategy and budgets (revenues, deposits, resource allocation ). - Validation of direct costs and FTE budget of Corporate Coverage in the country. - Setting KPIs and driving performance dialogue. - Setting targets for capital allocation and risk/return for Corporate Coverage clients. - Structuring and driving alignment with product/geographic/sector partners (including people reviews and definition of common KPIs). - Foster information exchange, best practices sharing and deal replicability within the Corporate Coverage Team. **Risk Management** RISK/CREDIT DELEGATION - Business credit delegation holder with responsibility to chair credit committees for files for local approval and submission to Head Office. - As Line Manager of the Senior Credit Advisor ensure the strict respect of the credit file maturities and renewal on time by the respective members of the Corporate Coverage Team. COMPLIANCE: - Ensure Compliance with Bank’s policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, in particular with regards to the KYC responsibilities and duties, as per relevant policies and procedures. Pay special attention to the final sign-off, when relevant, in the KYC process. - Work with local teams and Control Functions partners to ensure understanding and compliance by Corporate Coverage Staff with regulations and group policy and enhance the overall reputation of BNP Paribas in the country. CONDUCT: - Ensure that the business carried out by members of the Team and you with their/your clients is appropriate, understandable and suitable. - Organize regular information and awareness meetings on the topic with all members of the Corporate Coverage Team. **Skills/Knowledge/Competencies** - Excellent knowledge of the BNP Paribas Group organization and set-up. - Strategic thinking and leadership skills. - Credit, business development, networking and client management skills. - Ability to lead by example and motivate others. - Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a challenging environment. - Work transversally and tactfully across a complex organization as required and maintain high standards of professionalism in all dealings with team members external clients and internal stakeholders. - Strong ethics and integrity. - Global knowledge of Risks, their major processes or regulatory framework. - Understand the applicable regulations as well as contract law topics. - At least 15 years experience. - Native German, fluent English and French is a must.
