Global Network Planner

Location: Root D4, CH, 6039Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

**Global Network Planner**

In this role you will be responsible for executing Material Requirements Planning, volume allocation between different suppliers and securing seamless deliveries from suppliers to global operation centers. In this function you will be part of Novocure’s Global Planning team, reporting into and collaborating closely with the Director, Global Planning.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Coordination of monthly supply planning processes including Materials Requirements Planning in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Communication with demand planning on constrained supply plans and evaluation of potential resolution of issues.
- Communication with Operations, Logistics, Manufacturing and suppliers on delivery status, back order root causes, quality issues or supply disruptions.
- Ensuring smooth deliveries into relevant operation centers and continuous monitoring of supplier performance and safety stocks in order to prevent shortages.
- Initiating continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and project management assignments.

**Your profile**:

- Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, logistics or similar.
- Experience working in supply chain planning, sales and operations planning or similar, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Fluent, professional English skills both written and spoken. Any other languages are a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to prioritize and organize tasks independently.
