This culture of caring is the focus of our corporate philosophy, that are anchored in the internationally applicable **Credo** **Regional Manager Transport Operations** **Position overview** Regional diverse role in international dynamic FMCG environment of managing replenishment transport operations to ensure agile, reliable, and cost-efficient supply of local Affiliates in EMEA region from Manufacturing Sites and Regional Hubs. The focus for this role will be the close collaboration with different Supply Chain functions and partnership with external transport and logistics providers to strive for reliable, innovative, and sustainable day to day inbound operations aimed at excellent Customer experience **Tasks & Responsibilities**: - Drive value to Consumer EMEA through the optimized regional transportation flows for In Bound Freight from the Manufacturing sites to affiliates hubs and distributors, as well as inter-affiliate stock moves within EMEA region. - Build, manage and optimize Consumer inbound freight budget. Lead regular reviews with Finance, Operations, and other relevant stakeholders. - Manage relationships with transport and logistics service providers via metrics and by guiding them strategically, to drive performance, agility, and reliability, including business continuity set ups. - Proactively surface and resolve key issues with a sense of urgency, demonstrates continuous improvement including transportation lanes, resource management, leveraged value. **Qualifications** - Minimum 5 years in end-to-end Supply chain related disciplines, good understanding of order-to-cash process - Subject Matter Expertise across core Transportation, Planning and Carrier management, knowledge of import / export processes and Transportation management systems - Experience in managing complex operations across EMEA, working in a regional function and matrix organization. Ability to provide leadership in complex and challenging situations. High degree of independent judgement & decision making - Ability to drive continuous improvement (LEAN certification is desired) and innovation in Transportation management with an end-to-end view.
