**This position reports to**:
R&D Senior Engineer
**Your responsibilities**:
- Actively contribute to the battery design with your ideas
- Design components and sub-assemblies in CAD
- Participate in supplier discussion to clarify techno-economic feasibility
- Perform mechanical and thermal calculations/simulations
- Plan and execute sample preparation and testing
- Collaborate with power, control and production development teams
**Your background**:
- You have extensive CAD experience
- You have hands-on workshop experience and a sense for manufacturability
- You are a motivated individual who likes to take initiative and is able to work on assignments independently
- Background in the following areas is a plus: FEM simulation (thermal, structural), battery technology, design for automation
