Group Finance Controller

**About the job**:

- The Finance team plays a key role in Synpulse’ growth story and will continue to pave the way to continue this road. As a Group Finance Controller, you will be responsible to proactively provide relevant KPIs, drive innovation and support finance activities around the globe. You will be reporting to the CFO.
- Responsible to professionalize treasury operations across the group. Initial focus is on EU & US and especially around defining strategic funding options for multi-year client projects to manage financial risks around interest and exchange rates.
- Responsible to keep an overview of group-wide liquidity and provide rolling cash-flow forecasts.
- Responsible to provide monthly consolidated group results, including analysis thereof
- Responsible to maintain a reporting cockpit with relevant KPIs across different service verticals, regions and down to entities, in Power BI
- Responsible to drive business & finance transformation and automation projects
- Responsible to define and implement KPIs around managing aaS activities
- Responsible to keep group accounting manual updated along relevant IFRS
- Support group consolidation statutory closing activities
- Take part in M&A activities
- Ensure effective internal controls in relation to financial reporting are in place, identify continuous improvement opportunities and be a driver of relevant change processes.
- Provide financial advisory support to business leaders
- Effective working relationship with other group corporate functions

**About you**:

- Degree or Master’s in Accountancy / Finance plus qualification as ACCA, CA, CFA, CPA or similar
- At least 12 to 15 years of relevant working experience in Group Corporate Treasury and Finance Controlling functions in businesses with multi-national operations.
- 2-3 years of relevant working experience in M&A activities
- 3-5 years of first-hand working experience with treasury topics across several APAC countries
- Proven strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Experience acquired in Big4, or consulting companies desired
- Experienced in NetSuite, including its Planning & Budgeting module, a plus
- Independent and comfortable working in ambiguity, strong project management skills, results-oriented, and execution-focused
- Communicates concise, accurate and makes fact-based recommendations
- Used to communicate on eye-level from accountant up to C-level, across a team dispersed over many countries and with different cultural backgrounds
- Used to and likes a vibrant and fast paced consulting culture
- Fluent German and English skills
