Here, you will make an impact by: - Serves as an expert in the field of sub-category management and develops solutions to multi-faced, interrelated, and complex problems, which require strong analytical skills. - Develops raw materials sub-categories and vendor strategies; executes it in terms of distribution of business, source of supply, etc. - Leads complex, high value initiatives that have a broad implication to the corporation. - Develops strong relationships with strategic suppliers. - Influences clients, to adopt the integration of sourcing guidelines into business requirements. - Performs complex contract negotiations and gets external suppliers to deliver improved benefits to 3M in areas such as technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery, and cost - Develops and implementing EMEA sourcing strategies. - Ensure supply continuity to the 3M plants within volatile market conditions. - Manage Supplier Portfolio: Supply base assessment and consolidation. Regular meetings to discuss target attainment, active projects, and constraints incl. cost reduction activities. - Contracting and negotiating with assigned key suppliers. - Leads Supplier Performance Management. **Your Skills and Expertise** - _University or college degree in Engineering or Business Administration/ Economics - _Experience in Strategic Sourcing of Raw Materials and sub-contracted semi-finished goods - _Professional Negotiation Techniques - _Project Management Skills - _Experience in working in large, complex matrix organizations - _Strong analytical thinking and demonstrates problem-solving ability - _Fluent in English (written and verbal) - _Knowledge of standard PC software (SAP, MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word)**Supporting Your Well-being** Fair, performance-oriented and competitive payment is fundamental for 3M.
