As a **Sourcing Sub
- Category Lead EMEA **(*) **based in **Langenthal **Switzerland, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

- _Developing and implementing EMEA sourcing strategies
- _Ensuring supply continuity to the 3M plants & Distribution Centers within volatile market conditions
- _Managing Supplier Portfolio: Supply base assessment and consolidation. Regular meetings to discuss target attainment, _active projects, and constraints incl. cost reduction activities
- _Contracting and negotiating with assigned key suppliers.
- _Leading Supplier Performance Management**Your Skills and Expertise**:

- _Experience in Strategic Sourcing (2+ years)
- _Professional Negotiation Techniques
- _Project Management Skills
- _Experience in working in large, complex matrix organizations
- _Strong analytical thinking and demonstrates problem-solving ability- _Bachelor level university or college degree in Business Administration/ EconomicsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include
- _Excellent Communication skills and assertiveness
- _Knowledge of standard PC software (SAP, MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- _Can work under pressure and to deadlines
