**TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP)** is the trading arm of TotalEnergies in the field of low carbon energies. As such, it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution.
The Trading division in Geneva is responsible for optimising the purchase & sales portfolios of gas, electricity, CO2 emissions, dry bulk, and LNG in all recognised markets worldwide, in compliance with the Company trading guidelines.
In such context, TGP helps to ensure growth and profitability to a key segment of the business in order to reach the objective of Carbon Neutrality by 2050.

**What you will do**:
As a Dry Bulk Trading Operator, you will take part of the Shipping and Trading Operation Teams. You will report to the Head of Dry Operations (N+1) of the Trading Division in Geneva; for this position you will work in close relation with the Dry Bulk Trading Desk and the Front Desk.

Job dimension:

- International activity with a European dimension.
- Logistics for Sulphur: 5 000 trucks, 210 trains and 90 barges per year.
- Approx. 90 barges chartered (COA) per year for Sulphur activity with a significant expected increase in the forthcoming years.
- 4 storages sites in Europe.

In this context, your main responsibilities will be the following:

- Select the logístical partners and define the contractual scheme, in coordination with the RC and MS experts on train and trucks services. Participate to the negotiation/contractual discussion with the contractors.
- Manage and monitor the performance of those contracts.
- Monitor the dry bulk Sulphur markets and provides regular updates to the Dry Bulk Trading desk.
- Estimate the logistics costs and provides quotations to support the Dry Bulk trading activity (spot cargo opportunity, cargo diversion).
- Assist the traders in clarifying/defining their needs.
- Always ensure a high level of safety in the activity in due compliance with the Trading Division’s rules and with the TotalEnergies procedure. In particular:

- always ensures a full compliance with the Group vetting procedure and safety guidelines;
- always ensures a full compliance with the trading authority limits and delegations of authority;
- Always ensures a full compliance with the credit department procedures for third parties approval.
- Ensure a good coordination with the dry bulk trading.
- Monitor the performances and control the costs of parties.
- Negotiate and compromise any dispute with stakeholders.
- Make damage reports to the insurers (via the Insurance Department), if required, build up and follow up the insurance claim.
- Support the trading desk in negotiating the shipping related aspects of Sulphur contracts (LT contracts, spot purchase or diversion agreement )
- Participate to the setting up of the chartering company, developing the procedures and IT tools to support its activity.
- If needed, represent the department in shipping committee (compatibility meetings, vetting).
- Job Holder is part of a duty roaster
- Ensure storage and process contracts are diligently managed (quantities / qualities / financial exposure / customs etc.).
- Identify the cause of any encountered operational problems and ensure resolution through coordination with all affected stakeholders, mitigating costs and consequences for the Group
- Manage the invoicing and payment process and recovery of funds when applicable.
- Participate in projects to simplify and streamline all operational flows sustainably and through innovative new tools and procedures
- Coordinate logistics of all loading/discharging by sea and/or overland and avoid/mitigate any potential hazardous situations.
- Participate, in association with the traders, to the regular delivery programme discussions with suppliers and receivers, aiming at the perfect match between supplies and demand
- Precisely and carefully record and capture the requested data of the activities in the various internal systems in order to maintain accurate files in view of follow-up, archiving and audit purposes and participate in the development of the new operational software, cooperating with IT department, which will result in a better integrated system (Sulph
