Director of Global Sales

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Envision and execute strategic leadership, engage, energize, and enable sales growth and efficiencies, and continuously deliver profitable sales growth, to meet and or exceed the corporate financial goals. This includes the critical ability to create and enhance the consumer/customer value.
- Initiate, establish and strengthen the strategic business planning relationship with key customers to grow our business through category sales/profit growth (with a strategic approach such as joint business planning/multi-function customer team approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring to market innovation, channel development, and new business development.
- Outline and manage sales budgets and forecasts, motivating teams to achieve quarterly and annual goals.
- Manage, supervise, and provide the best practices for the sales team to elevate performance and achieve growth objectives.
- Directly manage all major and critical developing client accounts and assist in the management of all other business expansion initiatives.
- Collaborates with the design and marketing teams in developing new potential products.
- Represents the company at various business partner-related meetings and promotions (as well as in trade shows) in efforts to continually promote the company.
- Own effective communication - scorecards, dashboards, highlights, events, updates, etc. that effectively drives your sales agenda.
- Managing the entire sales life cycle to ensure visibility into and predictability of the lead-to-close process.
- Perform monthly and quarterly analysis, including performance towards sales plan, order and deal size analysis, lead-to-sales performance, and channel performance, among others.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership, general management, and sales teams to coordinate new sales initiatives in the region.
Qualifications:
- Team leader and builder. An inspirational leader with excellent management skills, who excels at building and developing people and teams, with passion and integrity, as well as being an integral part of the team. An individual who can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
- Driven - A self-starter with a consistent overachievement of sales quota and revenue goals in a large geographic territory and a strong work ethic.
- Sales Expertise - In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, and able to proactively deliver sales and profit commitments through timely decisions and actions.
**Requirements**:
- US Citizenship residing in Switzerland.
- Experience - 10+ years of B2B and/or enterprise sales experience, with 5+ years of leadership and team management experience.
- Sales experience in UAV or similar industry.
- Experience working in a matrix sales environment - proven ability to build relationships across the organization and collaborate as necessary to accomplish goals.
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
- Ability to travel up to 40% both domestic and international
- Ability to speak French and English
