NextLens is a strongly growing and internationally active optics company based in Dietikon, Switzerland. We develop, manufacture and market the latest generation of adaptive optical elements for consumer markets.
Working within our product development team, you develop exciting new products by integrating advanced technologies. In the team, you bring the next generation of innovative optical products from idea to production.

Tasks
- Responsible for the product design, development and manufacturing process flow definition, incorporating principles and concepts from mid to high-volume manufacturing production
- Following the product prototyping phase remotely or on site
- Releasing the final drawings, design process flow and all documents related to the product mechanical design on schedule
- Presenting findings to the project team, company, or customer
- Collaboration and reporting in multidisciplinary project teams
- Mentoring new team members and training of co-workers on the product design and development
- Create intellectual property and contribute to technology management
- Inspire team members to strive for alignment, entrepreneurial thinking, and high performance
**Requirements**:
- MSc degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent
- Experience (minimum 3 years) in product design and development, preferably in optics, MEMS, semiconductor, or/and consumer electronics industries
- Strong experience in 3D modelling with Solid works or equivalent CAD software
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Open-minded for challenging ideas in dynamic and hands-on environments with changing priorities
- Analytical thinking, proactive, creative, well organized
- Good knowledge of English
