Company Description

MET International AG (METI) was established in 2010 in order to consolidate and develop MET Group’s international natural gas sales and purchase portfolio, as well as to establish a trading arm for commodity lines.

METI is responsible for providing highly competitive supply structures to its gas and power sales affiliates, originating additional positions on the European wholesale and the international LNG markets, as well as trading around international positions. Besides being the business consolidator of the entire MET Group, METI is the sole interface and trading arm towards Western European markets via natural gas and power trading on liquid trading hubs, wholesale origination and logistics services.

**Job Description**:

- Managing Group level FX risk and Natural Gas Options Risk
- Quantitative analytics in cross-commodity and FX space to support the desk
- Building and back testing algorithmic trading algos in our proprietary library
- Researching Alpha by analyzing market data and market micro-structure
- Assisting Desk with daily operational tasks like deal booking, PnL analysis and other ad-hoc tasks related to trading activities
- Ad-hoc analysis

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of FX Options trading experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics
- Some programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, C++
- Must have: Keen interest in Financial Markets and Quantitative Trading Strategies
- Nice to have: Experience with SQL databases
- Good communication skills with fluency in English
