Limiting global warming to 1.5°C implies reaching net zero CO2 emissions in 2050 according to the IPCC. Next to substantially reducing emissions, this target will only be possible by globally deploying carbon removal (CDR) solutions at the scale of billions of tons of CO2.
Neustark is a leading provider in this rapidly growing field, having developed a solution to permanently store CO2 from the air in recycled mineral waste such as demolished concrete. Founded in 2019 in Switzerland, our first solutions have been deployed in Switzerland and Europe and are already capturing and storing tons of CO2 every week. We are currently scaling up our operations and carbon removal impact globally - on the road to removing one million tons of CO2 in 2030, and beyond that.
We’re a team of 50 people based mainly in Switzerland, working internationally, and with international offices very soon. Together, we enable permanent CO2 storage for a bright future of all generations on our planet.

**What your future team does**:
In the Plant Construction & Service team we design, construct and maintain neustark’s CO2 storage sites across all technology iterations and geographic regions. We work closely with our partners, especially waste demolition recyclers, to understand their requirements to develop customized solutions that we integrate along their existing production processes. Our team innovates, builds and optimizes - and certainly don’t forget to have fun along the way.
**What your job could look like**:
- As the Plant Construction & Service Coordinator, you oversee the end-to-end installation planning process, coordinating with local subcontractors for electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical tasks prior to the construction phase.
- You are an intermediary between external and internal stakeholders, including our customers, subcontractors, suppliers and our internal engineering, procurement, and logistics teams. You ensure that all necessary conditions are met for a timely and successful installation and commissioning.
- Following the commissioning phase, you closely monitor the plant's performance, scheduling maintenance and repairs, and collaborating internal teams and the customer to achieve the defined plant availability and meet defined CO2 storage targets.
- You continuously strive to optimize processes within the Plant Construction & Service department. Your focus will be on reducing costs, enhancing quality, and elevating service levels to achieve operational excellence.

**W**hat we’re looking for**:
- Completed education as a polymechanic, machine mechanic, or a plant and apparatus engineer.
- Additional education in the areas of business administration, business processes, or related fields.
- Proven work experience in an industrial setting, such as plant engineering, production, or service operations.
- Familiarity with project management. Lean, and Six Sigma concepts would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
- Flexibility to travel approximately 20% of the time.
