UX/UI Designer

HackCapital is a private-market investment platform. We make impact investment more approachable to sophisticated investors, to deploy 1B into ClimateTech solutions. The position is fully remote, but we're ideally looking for someone based in State of Vaud, Switzerland. You're curious and ready to dig into UX, ask questions to our early users and put in place necessary feedback loops. You're a great team player, have outstanding communication skills and want to be a fully integrated part of our company. You care that your work has an impact, and are truly passionate about solving some of our most pressing societal issues. **About the company**: HackVentures is out to democratise access to private equity, whilst enabling impactful startups to raise funds from the right investors. With a first "ugly-beta" out and already used by 400 early adopters, we’re now in the early process of designing and developing a scalable version of our investment platform. We aim at keeping our product / front team lean and agile, we use mostly Jira, Figma, Storybook and Vue.JS components. This position is a key hire for us, and you'll have to opportunity to truly influence our Design System, and what our product will become. We're looking for a talented designer that gets our vision and wants to stick around for the journey. **Requirements**: Previous experience required for this position - 3-5 years of experience in a similar UX/UI position - Previous experience building Design Systems from scratch - Strong knowledge of using Figma to design digital products - An organised approach, from concept, wireframe, mock-ups to final design - A documented and collaborative approach, coordinating on JIRA - Strong organisation skills, leadership abilities and attention to detail - An adaptable, can-do spirit. Resourceful and self-starter - A team player, with the ability to take and give constructive feedback - Full proficiency in English - Interest in sustainability, climate, health and food tech. **Not mandatory, but a plus**: - An understanding of Storybook / Vue.JS framework is a plus - Ideally, previous experience as a founding designer in a Startup - Ideally, previous experience with people management responsibilities. - Understanding and strong interest in Web3 and Blockchain technologies. - Previous experience in a FinTech / DeFi / Marketplace Startup is a plus **HOW TO APPLY**: Instead of a cover letter, please include a one-page submission that includes concise answers to these three questions: - How have your experiences prepared you for this role? - What are exciting developments in FinTech, and why does this interest you? - What would success in this role look like for you?
