WHAT'S THE ROLE?

You drive our activities in the area of multi-sensor fusion applied to Localization, Navigation, Visual-inertial odometry, and SLAM within the Corporate Research & Technology. Your innovative solutions will contribute to Hilti technology roadmap and future products definition.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

- MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics/Physics. PhD preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Academia/Industry
- Strong experience in several of the following domains: Localization, Navigation, Motion tracking, Lidar Mapping, Visual-inertial odometry, SLAM
- Hands on experience with Lidar, Camera, IMU sensors data and signal processing
- Profound theorical knowledge in: Statistics, Kalman Filters, Calibration methods, Optimization theory. Familiarity with open source sensor fusion libraries and frameworks preferred
- Good programming skills in Matlab and/or Python. C/C++ preferred
- Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and business acumen
- Fluency in English
