Data governance is of utmost importance across all different data types like enterprise base structure data, reference data, master data or transactional data.

Lonza is offering a 5-6 month internship in Data Management to advance the Data Governance level in one of the 3 areas:

- Development of a Data Life Cycle Archiving concept for Transactional Data
- Development of a roll-out plan for the implementation of Good Data Management Practices
- Development of a Data Migration concept for a major upgrade of an ERP system.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop concept and approach for the scope
- Engage with stakeholder, identify applicable business rules & regulatory requirements
- Transfer collected information into an action plan
- Pilot action plan in a selected process & data domain

Key requirements:

- Strong analytical skills. Ability to understand complex data structures and interdependencies through conceptual & strategic end-to-end thinking
- Ability to work across functions & geographic regions
- Ability to self-educate in new areas
- Effective communication, Quality decision making
- Bachelor in Science, Engineering, Finance or Business administration
