**Manager Procurement Governance**

**Purpose of the job**:
The Manager Procurement Governance reports to the Head of Procurement and Payments and is responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating governance, risk management and control processes in the areas of procurement and travel management.

***Principal accountabilities**:

- Creates, maintains, communicates and implements procurement and travel governance processes and policies.
- Supports and coordinates the Procurement 2nd Line of Defence. Defines and operates controls and KRIs, develops the 2LoD processes and resolves compliance and risk responses.
- Provides quality assurance of contracts.
- Improves existing processes and systems to changing needs. Successfully plans change interventions and process design.
- Coordinates between colleagues, management, and Bank-wide collaborators to identify needs for action and improvement.

**Qualifications, skills and experience**:

- A proven risk management and governance background in procurement. Legal background or background in sustainable procurement is a plus.
- Proven experience in drafting procurement contracts and thorough understanding of assessment criteria.
- Comprehension of control requirements. Ability to shape policy, processes and procedures.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of German is a plus.
- Proven ability to motivate others to lead initiatives with diverse group of stakeholders
- An appetite to drive compliance and continuous improvement
- Strong communicator with self-awareness, multicultural sensitivity, and natural authority.
