For a project at our client‘s site (remote work possible within EU), a pharmaceutical company based in **Basel**, we are looking for a motivated
Procurement Category Manager (w/m/d)
In this project, you will work as a Contract Specialist with the Clinical Sourcing Managers and compliance to prepare contract packages, including all needed GCP documentation.
**Your Qualifications**:
- **Many years of experience as a Procurement Manager, preferably within the Pharma industry**:
- **Bachelor's degree, preferably in Lifesciences or Pharmaceutical sciences**:
- **Experience in Clinical Development, including clinical trial budget development experience, procurement tools, e.g. ARIBA, contracting workflow system**:
- **Minimum of 2 years experience in Outsourcing / Procurement within the Pharma or CRO industry**:
- **Fluent in English, **additional languages are a plus
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Assist in executing the original contracts and amendments
- Archiving the contracts and amendments on procurement systems, e.g., ARIBA, contracting workflow system
- Responsible for preparing the contracting package for signatures
- Secure all necessary approvals to ensure compliance with procurement guidelines
- Utilize a contracting workflow system (Roadrunner) to track contract progress and status
- Report out on a set cadence tracking metrics and suggested process improvements
- Manage traffic of contractual documents to ensure timely and compliant execution
- Contribute to vendor audit requests and facilitate corrective action plans
