We are looking for a forward-thinking, diverse, very engaging, solution focused, team player with a proven track record in the Software and/or Cloud digital platform industry (PaaS, APIs, etc.), with a holistic understanding how ecosystems and digital ecosystems are key to address the global challenges and also greatly facilitate value creation and innovation

**Role Overview**

In this role, you will be at the forefront of Siemens’ digital transformation for the Smart Building industry. You will define the ecosystem and openness strategy and products for our Next Generation Cloud Software Suite. Be responsible to define and manage the roadmaps and backlogs for the ecosystems and openness offerings, based on a thorough understanding of the target customer groups and persona. You empower them to build smart building solutions as part of our platform-based ecosystem

Team up with our strategic business development team, work with regional business development managers and with strategic marketing to unlock business potential by engaging with possible ecosystem partners and contributors. Contribute to the business models (Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, etc) and go-to-market strategies. You will work with technical teams to ensure solutions are developed based on market indications and customers’ needs

**Location**: Preferred location is Zug, Switzerland, however, other locations within the EU, in any of our major Siemens SI locations are located can be considered. Prerequisite is in any case your legal eligibility to work in the respective country and location

**Your Responsibilities**

**In this interesting role, you would have the End-to-End responsibility**

**Product and Market related tasks**
- End-to-end Global Product Manager role for our cloud platform-based ecosystem, Business Services catalog, Ecosystem Developer and Releasing Journeys
- Create the digital product vision and define short
- and long-term offering roadmaps based on strategy and market opportunities, driving the platform and ecosystem development
- Define and establish Governance models for the ecosystem to ensure high quality and excellence of the ecosystem contributions
- Complete competitive analysis, qualitative and quantitative market research, and User Acceptance Experience Testing
- Structure the lifecycle management governance and practices for the Business Services and platform extensions portfolio
- Execute product strategy within a fast-paced agile environment that delivers incremental value in a fast manner

**Stakeholders**
- Drive alignment with stakeholders within SI (other business units, CTO, etc) to collect requirements and define roadmaps. Define the epics & features with SI stakeholders and prioritize the backlog
- Identify and rollout cloud-based ecosystem contributor / developer journeys and related tools to support ecosystem participants to contribute in a self-service manner, empowering them to build cloud-based smart building solutions as part of the ecosystem
- Align with Strategic Marketing and Business Development on ecosystem partner strategy and partner acquisition models
- Contribute to and shape business models that support the various value flows and business needs of the participants of the ecosystem, promoting SaaS, PaaS, and the platform economy with producer and consumer roles. Responsible for pricing and KPI metrics for the Business Services

**Your Experience**

**Technical skills**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent area, Business degree is a plus
- Strong Cloud Software and IT background and/or practical experience in Cloud platform business should be your base
- Ideally, our new colleague has around 3 years of Product Management experience
- Understanding of the guiding principles of platform-based ecosystems, SaaS, PaaS, openness, APIs, ecosystem support and governance and digital collaboration models
- You have already a grasp of the different players and stakeholders in an ecosystem, the value-flows and business models between the ecosystem contributors and solution providers, at last of the end-customer (PaaS, SaaS, Platform Economy, etc.)
- Understanding of decentralized digital solution creation in a digital platform-based ecosystem
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc
- Customer oriented
