Hobson Prior are currently looking for an Associate Director CMC of Technical Development to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a permanent basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on producing the next generation of multifunctional accuracy immunotherapies.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- For this role, you will cooperate with project management, research chemistry and any other functions to assist in preparing and executing the company CMC method.
- You will offer technical CMC knowledge and assist the research project teams and management.
- In collaboration with program management and any other shareholders, you will uphold development project plans, evolve risk mitigation methods, guarantee adherence to deadlines and discuss CMC development status with management and team members.
- Form relations as well as handle engagement with current and new CDMOs.
**Key Skills**:

- Interpersonal capabilities.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to influence internal co-workers and external associates.
**Requirements**:
- Educated to an advanced degree level in a chemistry discipline with experience in peptide synthesis and/or chemical modified biologics.
- At least 7 years of experience with CMC within a pharma, biotech or CDMO in biologics and/or antibody drug conjugate manufacturing and/or product development.
- Familiarity with bringing peptide therapeutics via pre-clinical to clinical development would be ideal.
- Acquaintance with development and optimisation of manufacturing procedures and oversight of manufacturing campaigns for resources varying from toxicology studies to cGMP phase 1 clinical trial material.
- Exhibited ability to handle CDMO collaborations.
