**Key Responsibilities**: - Manage and oversee the work of multiple areas, functionalities, scope and/or locations and may have financial budget responsibilities. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department. - Identify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of broad and more complex supply chain strategies which may include negotiations with internal and external parties - Identify, validate and implement within "plan, source, make, deliver/return" continuum (e.g., supply chain operational reference model) in multiple areas, functionalities, scope and/or locations that align with key business strategies - Plan and direct complex activities with large scale or significant business impact with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables. Lead in identifying risk, developing mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams - Develop infrastructure including design training and processes and creating SOPs - Other incidental duties **Education and Experience**: Bachelor's Degree in in related field with related experience in supply chain required and skill levels exceeding the requirements of the Manager Required and Demonstrated track record in people management Preferred Experience working in a regulated industry Preferred **Additional Skills**: - Proven successful project management leadership skills - Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite and related systems including JDE, Advanced Planning Systems working with Demand Flow methodology - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making - Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives - Expert understanding of related aspects of supply chain processes and/or systems - Expert knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to supply chain - Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of supply chain to the business About Edwards Lifesciences Edwards Lifesciences is the global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart disease, as well as critical care and surgical monitoring.
