Governess/nanny Position in Downton Lausanne

We are a professional couple seeking the support of a governess for our household. In May 2025, we will be welcoming twin boys and would like to establish a long-term trust relationship with a person who will support us on a day-to-day basis for the foreseeable future.
Starting in September, the governess will support us at an occupation level between 50 and 60% during the week, and starting in early 2026, the position occupation level required will be between 80 and 100%. A formal, undetermined duration employment contract will be put in place to regulate our relationship which also entails that obligations such as social insurance, vacations, and retirement contributions are included.
At the moment, we live in an apartment downtown Lausanne and will move to our house near the train station as soon as the renovation work is completed in early 2026. It is worth mentioning so that when employment conditions are discussed, we can further investigate together the possibility of occupying a room on a separate floor of the house until the function apartment is ready by mid-2026 should it suit both parties.
The person we are seeking is somebody reliable, discreet, serious, with good work experience and a valid work permit and/or Swiss/European citizenship. Minimally, the person should have a good level of English, French and/or Italian are desirable but not mandatory at the beginning.
**What to expect in terms of tasks**:
1. Supporting the parents in taking care of the twins during daytime, noticeably when they work and on occasional date nights. This should constitute 60 to 80% of your schedule.
2. Invest time in developmental games and early learning activities with the boys as well as going out and about in the city and the park daily whenever weather permits.
3. Taking care of the house and the laundry in between and more intensive cleaning on the days not focused on childcare.
4. Some cooking and meal preparation is expected, especially around lunchtime and for a few dinners a week.
5. Grocery and some other basic shopping are to be undertaken as agreed every week.
6. Finally, potentially joining us, should our interest and schedule converge, for some family weekend or vacations abroad as part of your work assignment without impacting your vacation allowance.
In conclusion, it is worth noting that our family also includes the cutest little dog, a 10kg female cocker spaniel, hence, animal lovers are welcome, and being comfortable around dogs is mandatory.
