Arxada is looking for an EMEA Site Service Staff located in Visp, Switzerland.

Key responsibilities:
Infrastructure
- Technology lead of all infrastructure services for IT/OT including servers, operating system builds, databases, storage, hosting, configuration management, asset lifecycle, virtualization, cloud solutions, backups and disaster recovery
- Develop high-level technical solutions, sustainable processes and standards in order to drive automation opportunities and improve the quality and stability of processes
- Drive standardization, centralization and digitalization projects
- Support automation projects by assisting with the conceptual design
- Monitor and assess cyber security threats and define remediation activities
- Support the local site in maintaining hardware, software and automation systems
- Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
- Actively manage 3rd party vendor(s), local suppliers and providers to ensure they are meeting the services levels (requirements and quality) and aligning to Arxada standards (security, architecture, quality)
- Conduct audits and assessments on site
- Act as a coordinator between OT/IT and digital delivery team

Documentation
- Develop and maintain documentation relating to all assigned systems and use cases
- Assist in defining data governance policies and procedures like disaster recovery plans
- Maintain OT assets for the site in global CMDB

Key requirements:

- Extensive experience in IT/OT systems, architecture and networking
- Experience in control systems design, implementation or maintenance
- Solid cyber security knowledge like access control, firewalls, authentication
- Good knowledge in IT administration (DNS, DHCP, AD, DB admin, MS Windows server, Linux, VMware)
- Familiar with virtualizations in VMware and HyperV
- Knowledge in industrial communications (Modbus, Profibus, OPC)
- Experience in OSI PI system administration and data analytics programs
- Ability to think out-of-the-box and support the development of new use cases for digitalization in the context of chemical continuous and batch manufacturing
- Ability to handle multiple projects (5-10) simultaneously, keep track of the costs as well as schedule and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Use organizational skills to prioritize and resolve project issues
- Ability to evaluate solutions and recommend action based on meeting scope, schedule and budget
- Outstanding inter-cultural collaboration skills
- Completed studies in business administration, (business) informatics or comparable qualifications with further education in engineering
- Ability to effectively communicate via writing and oral communication at all levels to both internal and external customers
- Ability to express ideas effectively in individual and group situations (including non-verbal communication)
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical people in an international context
- Ability to communicate with internal and external personnel (including regulatory authorities)
- Ability and willingness to express opinions and argue their basis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
