As the Head of MRO Sales for the EMEA Region you will be responsible for acting as the Sales Business Partner to the Regional MRO Operations leaders and teams. This function includes to efficiently and effectively lead, develop, administrate and direct regional budgeting, forecasting, and analysis in concert with the company strategy and priorities set forth by the SVP Operations EMEA, VP MRO Services and General Manager Basel, VP ME Operations. In this role you will design, develop, implement and coordinate sales programs, actions and campaigns to meet the organization's business objectives and sales targets.
- Description/Tasks:
- Provide leadership and direction to the MRO Sales teams across the regions
- Develop & execute overall MRO/RMU sales strategy to secure and exceed budgeted targets
- Accountable to achieve sales objectives for the MRO line of business out of the region
- Responsible for new business development through prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing opportunities
- Manages client relationship through the full sales cycle
- Coordinate sales visits efficiently with the respective sales members
- Ensure response to RFQs (Request for Quotes) are in line with customer expectations and follow up appropriately to ensure effective project closing
- Build, support and promote cooperation between LOB's to maximize and re-enforce cross selling activities
- Provide inputs for business volume forecasting
- Effectively represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with Customers, OEMs, partners, industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
- Active participation to the organization and attendance to trade shows, conferences, industry events, etc.
- Ensure proper handover of projects into operations at point of sales
- Ensure Salesforce data accuracy on accounts, business opportunities and follow-up status
- Reporting of activities and sales achievements
- Responsible for the execution and implementation of the Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) Program
- Qualification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business or equivalent from an accredited university
- Strong track-record/at least 15 years of Sales business partnering in a global context
- Strong understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework
- Demonstrated success in leading Sales teams
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities
- Results driven - able to execute with high personal accountability
- Project management experience
- Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
