Who we are looking for
An Accounting Assistant who will be a support of all the accouting tasks of a group of Swiss companies, after a dedicated training under the supervision of the Group Head of Accounting and Finance.
The position is based in our Head office in Geneva, with reporting line to the Head of Accounting and Finance. You will work with smart colleagues, in an enjoyable and flexible work environment, supported by state-of-the-art financial tools, actively participating to the improvement of our accounting practices.
About the Job
**Job Description**:
Accounting & Finance
Ensure the general accounting different legal entities
Coordinate and control the integrity of the digital invoices and expenses managements process with third party vendor
Ensure compliance with deadlines, including the establishment of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Interact with the external auditors and finance partners
Deliver Business Central on-the-job training best practices to the affiliates’ accountants in overseas locations
Your Qualification
**Requirements**:
We are looking for a dynamic person who is project oriented, autonomous, and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies:
You have an « accountant certificate “ or you are currently training for it
You have 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar function in an international environment
You have been exposed to and have an experience with a mainstream finance ERP (Microsoft Business Central a plus)
You master the Microsoft office suite and have knowledge in Business Intelligence Tool (Power BI) a plus
You enjoy collaborating with others to reach common goals
You are comfortable to work in an international and multi-cultural workplace
You pride yourself in providing a great client experience
You easily build trust with others by being down to earth, realistic and being open to other perspectives and ideas
You are adept and agile to perform in a fast-paced environment, and managing competing demands and priorities
You have a high level of integrity and confidentiality
You have an interest in impact finance and/or sustainable development
You are able to work comfortably in both English and French. Other languages such as Spanish would be a plus
Swiss/EU National or valid Swiss Work Permit is required
