**R&D PMO and Risk Manager (M/F/d)**
The R&D Project Management Office (PMO) within R&D Strategy Portfolio & Operations is a cross-functional enabler of informed decision making, portfolio management and strategy, internal/external communication, and organizational efficiency. The role of the PMO Manager covers several of the following areas:
**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify and assess project risks together with Global Development Teams (GDT) or Integrated Product Teams (IPT) in R&D and SBU Oncology. Holistically analyze risks related to efficacy, safety, quality and marketing of pharmaceutical drugs on project and portfolio level to prepare and support portfolio management and decisions by governance committees
- Support senior management by generating transparency and insight into project and portfolio information. Provide portfolio and project related reports and analyses as basis for decision making and internal/external communication
- Drive the development, implementation and maintenance of tools and IT systems, dashboards and reporting solutions which facilitate project and portfolio reporting, executive management information, risk management, project management, knowledge sharing and communication
- Conduct industry-wide project/ clinical study/ productivity related benchmarking studies, compile data from internal sources and external information, analyse results and present to senior management
- Develop, track and analyze KPIs (e.g. for R&D productivity) to inform R&D strategy and support innovation; present results to senior management
- Manage the operational conduct of R&D governance committees, facilitate and moderate meetings, take minutes, track action items and implementation of decisions, support project teams preparing for decisions
- Facilitate project management and operational excellence, drive operational processes and provide clarity on processes and standards to project teams
**WHO YOU ARE**
- University degree (M.Sc. or diploma) in medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy or another relevant natural science combined with long-term working experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Research, Development, Clinical Operations, Project Management or other areas related to drug development and commercialization
- Profound knowledge of the global drug development process
- Proven leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills, personal independence and self-motivation
- Ability to provide clear vision, direction, and purpose in the different cultures present within the global R&D and SBU Oncology organizations
- Proven experience in building working relationships with internal and external partners
- Strong communication, moderation and negotiation skills as well as skills for proactive resolution of conflicts and misalignments
- Digital acumen and ability to summarize and present complex matter in an easily comprehensible way
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
