Growth Equity Associate, Private Equity Technology

**What it's about**
In this position, you will join Partners Group’s Private Equity Directs Technology team in Zug with responsibilities across all aspects of VC/Growth lead investments, including sourcing, due diligence and investment execution, operational value creation and divestitures.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Researching Technology trends and themes to proactively identify and source investment opportunities in the Technology sector
- Source and meet with management teams of potential investment opportunities
- Supporting and selectively leading due diligence workstreams on prospective investments (e.g., financial, commercial, tax, legal due diligence etc.)
- Drafting and presenting investment recommendation documents
- Evaluating and modelling business plans
- Contributing to the negotiation and drafting of legal transaction documentation
- Supporting portfolio companies throughout our investment period (including the planning, execution and monitoring of value creation initiatives)
- Conducting various other tasks related to the global Technology franchise
**What we expect**:
- We are looking for a professional with the ability and willingness to excel within a highly entrepreneurial organization.
- Top academic credentials from a leading university
- 3-5 years of work experience in private equity, growth equity, M&A, strategy consulting, ideally with prior experience in or analysing Technology/Software companies
- A strong passion for investing, for the VC/growth space and global Technology markets
- Proficiency in excel modelling and in drafting investment proposals
- Superior organizational competence (planning, scheduling, coordinating and time management)
- Excellent teamwork skills within international settings
- Excellent language skills - proficiency in English, a second European language is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication, able to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority, from business owners and CEOs to junior staff
- A high energy level coupled with a strong desire to learn and succeed, along with an impeccable work ethic and a professional demeanour
