Are you an automation expert with a strong background in process engineering?

As a leader of 4 within the process engineering team, your responsibility will be to lead on manufacturing projects related to existing and new products and their processes with special emphasis to maximizing solutions in automation to reach cycle time objectives.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating the work of a cross-functional team while being busy “on the floor” working directly on the production lines and their respective teams.

Your responsibilities will be to:

- Own production line project management end to end; further develop existing processes and establish new ones;
- Ensure our fully automated assembly lines and test systems are working to maximum efficiency; while constantly working on identifying ways to further improve our cycle times;
- Create user manuals and error documentation for most effective machine operation;
- Closely monitor project network plans and their implementation;
- Lead and motivate to project team to reach targets within the project timeline;
- Ensure maintenance and revisions of our automated manufacturing equipment and devices are continued;
- Support setting up and further improving existing production lines in other JE locations (travel to other JE locations up to 5 times/year is required).

Our requirements:

- Experience in managing fully automated assembly lines in a manufacturing environment;
- A strong educational background in engineering (mechanical or electrical); or technician studies with apprenticeship completed as an automation specialist;
- Hands-on experience in creating and further developing production lines, working directly with machines and devices;
- Experience in managing cross-functional project teams and managing process engineering projects,
- The ability to work independently, reaching agreed outcomes and outputs for managed projects;
- An excellent communicator in English and in German or French;
