Head of Global Cloud Services

**Job Purpose**
The responsibility of Head of GCS is, to provide leadership and vision in the delivery of cloud hosting services. The person is responsible and accountable for ensuring that cloud services portfolio meets its customers’ requirements, leading and influencing national and international strategies and policies where appropriate to achieve this. The Head of GCS is responsible of the efficient operations delivery of all Cloud hosting services (e.g. AWS, Azure etc.). To do so, he/she establishes and maintains professional management practices with her/his team, internal stakeholders and potential outsourcing partner. She/He is working closely with the service providers, Straumann's Data & Tech and other IT teams, to ensure the operations, continuous development and quality of services. He/she is responsible for the steering of projects, leading Straumann teams in delivering cost efficient services which meet Straumann's business needs. She/He defines global rules and standards for the Cloud service. She/He monitor and continuously improve service support and delivery processes. She/He acts as a broker of services between Straumann Data & Tech, other functional IT teams and the service provider’s management team.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Develop the strategy for Cloud Hosting & Cloud Services at Straumann Group
- Define, create, plan and manage the migration program into the Cloud
- Build the Cloud Automation platform of Straumann (IaC) to increase speed & quality of deployment and maintenance significantly
- Manage the entire Cloud hosting & service portfolio together with your team
- Act as an internal consultant towards stakeholders to drive a consumer centric Cloud roadmap meeting current and evolving consumer needs
- Ensure effective, secure and compliant promotion of Cloud Services
- Own and manage the vendor relationship along the partner strategy and migration journey
- Analyzing and set KPI's to measure the effectiveness of cloud services, financial management, security and performance

**Profile**:
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
- Deep knowledge and certifications in the area of IT Service (ITIL) and Project Management (Prince2, Scrum etc.)

Experience
- 10 years of experience in IT service management (ITIL) processes working in international companies
- 3 years of experience as the responsible function for Cloud Hosting & Cloud Services
- A proven track record of steering & managing large Cloud migration programs for hybrid, multi-cloud strategies
- Deep hands-on experience in Cloud Automation (IaC) within a DevOps environment
- In-depth knowledge and experience in end-to-end process ownership
- Deep knowledge and proven track records of managing agile project methods, ideally with Scrum
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to engage with and present to executive level, further languages a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of cross functional collaboration is required to deliver outstanding results
- Ability to travel globally (up to 20% of time)
