**AIT Worldwide Logistics is hiring a Director of HR, Europe.**

The Director of HR, Europe, will oversee a team of HR Business Partners and Coordinators, supporting talent programs across their respective regions. In this role, the Director is accountable for all core talent processes including performance management, organizational workforce planning, leadership development, retention, and engagement.

You will lead a team of HRBPs in supporting their regions to ensure talent is a top priority in the company. You will serve as a thought leader and partner to senior leaders across the organization in matters related to feedback, employee relations, new hire on-boarding, career development and succession planning, change management, attracting talent and teammate recognition.

This position will work closely with the Executive VP of Global Human Resources and the VP of Europe Operations in handling all regional operations. The role will oversee a distributed group of HR professionals across Germany, Switzerland, and UK (according to the future expectations and growth of the Region Europe).

**What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day**:

- Building a strong HR Europe Organization, which brings value to European Region and partnering with the global HR Team
- Set the strategy for your HR Organization in Europe, based on the global strategic orientation and focus.
- Leading the HR team, helping them support a growing, global customer base. Enhance the team’s effectiveness by bringing more value to their internal stakeholders and providing a more strategic level of impact to the business.
- Acting as a Business Partner and support the management team in all HR matters on a day-to-day
- Partner with the VP Europe and the senior management team in ensuring the regional strategic direction and objectives are aligned with HR support.
- Collaborate with your HRBPs in managing proper organizational and talent planning in line with the business strategy and unique needs of each region/branch.
- Coach senior leaders on how to deliver performance management, feedback, career paths and succession planning conversations.
- Partner with Senior Leaders and HR Partners in effectively managing HR/talent components within all M&A activity and organic growth of new markets.
- Partner with our global Training & Development team to develop leader and team trainings focused on the _AIT Way_, development, culture, career progression and fundamentals of leadership.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on headcount planning, identifying essential roles and coaching leaders on finding top talent.
- Partner with our Total Rewards team to lead review cycles, implement merit planning and become an expert on our compensation philosophy and practices. In addition, this role will work very closely with our Global Payroll team on ensuring accurate and timely processing of Europe monthly payrolls and competitive benefit offerings to attract talent.
- Partner with our D&I team on any cross-functional programs aimed at improving our inclusiveness within the organization and attracting and advancing underrepresented talent.
- Partner with the business leaders and HR to analyze workforce insights, assimilate talent data and competency gaps to further develop the people strategy for the function.
- Serve as a thought leader, embrace outside thinking in line with best practices at other leading 3PL and high-performing companies.

**Other Skills We Hope to See**:

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 7 or more years’ experience in Human Resources, similar position
- Demonstrated competence in garnering support for talent management strategies across the organization
- Experience leveraging influencing skills across a broad spectrum of employees/leaders
- Ability to set strategic plan and align desired outcomes to execute talent strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of country employment, statutory benefits, and legislation
- Strong oral & written communication skills in German and English (more languages are a benefit), including the confidence to present, influence and collaborate at the leadership level
- Strong analytical skills to think strategically and utilize analytics and insights to inform plans and drive outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality projects in a growing environment
