We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join the Microsoft Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team as a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) for Azure Core/Infrastructure. Joining the GPS team as a CSA means you will be playing a critical role helping Microsoft Partners to build solutions and services on Microsoft Azure.

Working in GPS means you are shaping the world’s largest eco-system of technology companies working to digitally transform the world’s most innovative companies, large and small.

As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) you will play a critical role in working with partners to provide deep Azure Core/Infrastructure technical support through solution build and first mile customer engagements including Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons.

**Responsibilities**:
**Key areas of responsibility**
- **Understanding Partner Technical Environment. **Identifies and evaluates industry trends, and jointly develops technical enablement plan with partner. Maintains technical skills and knowledge of market trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
- ** Solution/Offer/Practice Development. **Leads execution of architectural engagements, such as Technical Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons with the goal of defining and bringing new solutions, offers and/or practices to market.
- ** Tech Sales**: Enable partners with technical pre-sales skills while supporting initial partners’ wins and work to unblock technical issues.
- ** Trusted Advisor. **Develops and expands existing impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level technical decision makers (TDMs), and business stakeholders.
- **Thought Leadership. **Leads the direction that internal team members and stakeholders take by sharing ideas, insight, and strategic, technical input across boundaries.

**Qualifications**:

- Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, emerging computing trends and their impact on partner practice building opportunities.
- 3-5+ years experience in some of the deep technical specializations below:
Compute, Networking, Storage, Azure Arc, Containers, VMWare, Migration Techniques, Resiliency, Management Tools, BCDR, Azure Security.
- Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams; Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences at different levels of organizations.
- Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineer or related field preferred
- Prior work experience in a consulting/architecture position within a Software an/or Services company such as Amazon Web Services, Google, IBM,
- Business Language: English (must) and French or/and German (preferred)
