In this role, you are pivotal to ensure functional continuity and efficiency within all applicable GPM workflows, supporting staff and clients in successful outcomes. The Process Governance Manager will use their functional expertise and knowledge of matrixed Labcorp processes to oversee the global performance integrity of their defined functional area and collaborate with leaders within GPM and across the organization to ensure functional area processes are efficient, effective, and maximize a great customer experience.

The GPM Process Governance Manager will focus on the following key areas:

- Establish and/or maintain systems/processes to measure functional competency, process efficiency and quality deliverables. Analyze trends and determine necessary actions.
- Establish functional competency expectations in collaboration with Senior GPM Leadership. Maintain SOP/WI documentation and align with GPM trainers to maximize staff performance.
- Lead Issue Management consortium to evaluate quality issues and trends. Provide best practices and counsel for functional impact/changes.
- Evaluate current and future business needs to evolve functional roles, processes and tools. Manage changes to functional roles, processes and tools.

**In more details, you will**
- Collaborate with the GPM Process Governance and Senior GPM Leadership teams to ensure processes and delivery are aligned with overall GPM and CLS strategy;
- Be responsible for overall consistent delivery & maximized efficiency within functional processes;
- Be responsible for evaluating and/or overseeing process changes impacting function;
- Identifies/evaluates global GPM initiatives for priority, consults with GPM leadership
- With GPM Liaisons (where appropriate), assesses impacts of inter-departmental changes on GPM functional processes
- Recommends key stakeholder participation within GPM and/or across BU
- Monitors progress of impacting initiatives
- Prepares/Recommends necessary change management activities
- Responsible for establishing competency expectations and appropriate competency assessments for function;
- Develops functional competency expectations and shares with GPM leadership for performance management activities
- Establishes systems/processes to measure functional competency, process efficiency and quality deliverables and shares with GPM leadership for performance management activities
- Analyzes performance trends and determines necessary actions
- Responsible to maintain necessary SOP/WI documentation for function;
- Consults regularly with GPM training team to ensure available reference material is current and effective;
- Consults regularly with GPM liaison team to ensure inter-departmental processes are effective and efficient
- Represents function on Issue Management consortium to provide consultation on issue resolution (corrective/preventive actions)
- Analyzes issue trends and determines necessary actions

**The GPM Process Governance Manager **will be most successful at Labcorp with:
**Minimum Experience Required**:

- At least 3 years of Labcorp Global Project Management experience with knowledge of capabilities and expertise of the Labcorp organization or equivalent companies
- Demonstrated strategic planning and execution
- Proven ability to grasp complex concepts, be creative, and influence multiple departmental and functional processes
- Ability to work independently, using own initiative, at a high level within a matrixed and global environment, ensuring effective collaboration internally
- Ability to influence decision makers and a proven track record of success in this area
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change within a fast-paced environment
- Experience facilitating and guiding meetings, workshops and group discussions, enabling others to collaborate more effectively, overcome barriers and achieve common goals and move projects forwa
