Demand Planner

The Demand Planner (M/F/d) leads the cross-departmental process for the creation of a balanced sales forecast for our product range to achieve a high sales forecast accuracy and other KPIs in the supply chain. The job holder will report to the Supply Chain Planning Manager. This role is temporary for 12 months and can be based in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

**What are we looking for?**
- University degree in Business Administration preferably with a focus on Supply Chain Management
- Experience in the area of logistics (ideally planning)
- Understanding of cross-functional and departmental processes
- Solution-oriented mindset and proven in conflict management
- Pro-activity and personal responsibility
- Very good communication skills and a strong ability to react flexible on different workload in an international and dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Navision) and Planning
- Fluency in German and English, French is a plus

**What will be your key responsibilities?**
- Creation of article-specific sales forecasts in cooperation with marketing, sales, S&F and the regional planning team in Aimargues
- Analysis of planning errors to continuously improve planning accuracy
- Ensuring high quality input for the calculation of supply needs from plants with accurate sales forecasts
- Execution and management of periodic S&OP meetings, as well as continuous improvement of the process
- Predict changes in demand and ensure the constant availability of our products
- Taking promotions and seasonal fluctuations into account
- Promotion and activity planning quantities as well as monitoring the activities
- Participate and drive process optimization
