Internship: Marketing/communication in Honey Bee

Vatorex is a Swiss technology startup dedicated to saving honey bees. We are committed to creating innovative solutions for the beekeeping community, to enable healthier bees, more robust food systems, and a sustainable planet. We develop and distribute hardware and software solutions for beekeepers. Our flagship product is a chemical-free parasite treatment, using the principle of heat. The core team consists of technicians, scientists, marketers, and beekeepers and has been in operation since 2016.
We will execute a Kickstarter campaign in Q1/2025. To accelerate our marketing activities and to grow our team, we are looking for a:
Marketing & Communicatons intern 80-100% (M/F/d)
We are offering a 6-month internship, starting between October - November 2024. We are looking for a self-organized person with strong social media skills and an eye for design. You will play an active role in the execution of our communication strategy around the campaign and gain a deep insight into the marketing process of a growing and aspiring startup. Our story sells well, so be prepared to see your work featured in the media soon.

Tasks
- Create and execute content plan around Kickstarter campaign
- Produce specific content such as newsletters, blog articles, social network posts, video content and press releases
- Run ads, A/B testing, manage ad budget (supervised)
- Contribute to marketing campaigns

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills, fluent in English
- Eye for design and familiarity with relevant programs
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Studies in communication sciences / marketing or comparable education
