Internship Testing Technologies, Emissions (6-month-contract)  Job summary In this role, you will contribute to the decarbonisation of the marine industry by supporting WinGD testing activities. With the fast development of technologies based on conventional and future fuels, WinGD engines are extensively tested to maximise performance and minimise their impact on the environment. Your job is to support the team with the preparation of testing equipment, the development of new measurement systems, and the maintenance of the WinGD testing infrastructure. Your focus will be on emissions measurements. Responsibilities Investigation of measurement methods for fine particles Preparation of measurement equipment to ensure availability and readiness Support of in-house testing activities and workshop maintenance Liaising with other teams to ensure effective preparation and execution of testing activities Evaluation, development, and validation of new measurement technologies Supporting the improvement of internal processes and work methods Requirements BSc in Mechanical Engineering (completed or in progress) or a related field Hands-on mentality Analytical and structured working style Good communication and reporting skills Experience with measurement equipment Ability to plan work according to deadlines Knowledge and experience with two-stroke combustion engines Fluent in English; German is desirable Our offer: An opportunity to shape the sustainability and environmental impact of the shipping industry.
