Indoor Cycling Coach

Velocity is the first dedicated indoor cycling studio in Switzerland, with 3 locations (2 in Zurich, 1 in Zug). We are passionate about indoor cycling and having a sweaty, exhilarating workout.

Velocity is now recruiting new coaches. Velocity rides combine the latest mashup music, a party atmosphere and welcoming community that will better the body, mind and soul. If you are passionate about fitness, enjoy music while keeping the rhythm, and want to be part of our team, then we would like to meet you

Tasks

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a room of people with a dynamic, upbeat personality
- Motivate riders during a challenging, fun ride
- Use knowledge and passion of music to lead rides as well as being able to keep the rhythm without problem
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Willing to assist in promotional endeavors both in and outside of the studio
- Team player, cultivator of the Velocity Community and ambassador of Velocity
- Willingness to work flexible hours: weekends, morning, nights, some holidays
- Able to attend a 4 week Velocity Training Program (no charge, but exclusivity agreement required)

**Requirements**:
**Skills**:

- Good knowledge of music, music trends and a good feel for the beat
- Fluent English is a must
- Physically fit
- Dependable, reliable and works well with others
- Must be able to commit to a fairly regular schedule

**Experience**:
Previous experience in instructing group workouts is an advantage but not a must as we will provide extensive training in the Velocity method

**Benefits**:
If you are selected for our Training Program, you will need to:

- Provide a short 10 minute audition (2-3 songs)
- If accepted, attend a 4 week training program, roughly 10-12 hours per week
- Receive ongoing education, feedback and reviews as part of the Velocity Team
- Show proof of valid Swiss working permit
