Tech Lead Ground Control

As a Technical Lead, you will collaborate with a Product Manager to lead a team consisting of frontend, backend, control systems and QA engineers. You will be in a key role to empower the team to explore, break down and find solutions for complex problems. Your team will deliver a product that continuously provides value to our users and clients and contributes to Verity's success.

**What you'll do**:

- Coach the team to build safe, robust, and user friendly solutions.
- Be responsible for the system design and assure smooth operation in the field.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. operations, manufacturing, and delivery) to create intuitive and powerful tools to manufacture and setup our ever growing fleet.
- Continuously work on ways to improve the operational excellence of the services owned by your team.

**Managerial responsibilities**:

- Be the line manager of the engineers working in your team.
- Guide and lead your team by example and support their career growth.
- Help your team to understand the desired outcomes, break down complex tasks, and create the right connections.
- Build strong relationships with other development teams, product, operations, manufacturing and delivery.

**What you bring**:

- Degree (FH, BSc, MSc) in computer science, software engineering, robotics, control systems, or relevant field.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- 2+ years of team leadership experience with cross-functional teams and complex project coordination.
- Industrial experience in C++, Python, or TypeScript.
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills with an understanding of high-quality processes and methods.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Additional plus:

- Passion for great user experience.
- Experience with Robotics and/or IoT devices.
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with testing frameworks.
