**What you’ll be doing**
To ensure sustainable growth and profitability in digital and green through the Social Innovation Business, Hitachi is undergoing a major transformation to establish a customer centric business model (incl. alignment of global processes and common digital tools).
The Global Marketing and Sales Communications Manager will support the Head of M&S Communication in delivering both the M&S global transformation project internal engagement program and the development of global customer-facing marcom programs and materials. This is a role for a marcom generalist with a track record of effective communication program delivery and a great opportunity to develop your marketing communications experience at a global level.
The role is offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
- ** Implement the M&S transformation internal engagement plan, **working closely with global Internal communications. Help create a connected global marketing community at Hitachi.
- ** Support the development of content for and organization of global marketing & sales events** in line with overall communications plan.
- ** Assist in designing and conducting end-user training** on changed systems or processes.
- ** Support the core global customer-facing marcom program development** together with the Head of Global Marketing and Sales Communication. Including planning and production of relevant content along the marketing & sales process for targeted accounts.
- ** Measure and analyse the effectiveness of communications, training and global marketing & sales initiatives** to contribute to better decision-making.

- Relevant education/training in marketing and communication. Experience within in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrable success in a marketing communication role.
- Excellent English spoken and written - very strong copywriting proficiency.
- Digital tools proficiency, design and editing skills
- Self-starter, can-do attitude
- Project management experience
- Cultural sensitivity and openness to work in an international business environment across all timezones
- Occasional international travel will be required as part of this role.
