The Head of Operational Risk Advisory will lead the global operational risk advisory unit, focusing on the implementation and development of the operational risk framework. This includes partnering with the first line of defence to ensure effective implementation of risk identification, measurement and mitigation measures, analyzing significant incidents, leveraging and developing the Bank's Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool, monitoring regulatory developments in operational risk, and improving the risk reporting process, notably through innovative technologies.

**Main responsibilities**
- **Operational Risk Methodology Implementation and Development**:

- Develop and refine the operational risk framework to ensure a robust and comprehensive implementation aligned with industry best practices.
- Implement the framework across the global operations of the bank, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- **Partnership with First Line of Defence**:

- Collaborate closely with the first line of defence to support the implementation of the framework and its development.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure operational risks are identified, assessed, managed, and mitigated effectively.
- **Incident Analysis**:

- Analyse significant operational risk incidents to identify root causes and lessons learned.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve the overall risk management framework.
- **Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Tool Development**:

- Leverage and enhance the Bank's GRC tool to support operational risk management processes.
- Ensure the tool is effectively utilized for risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
- **Regulatory Developments**:

- Stay abreast of regulatory developments in the field of operational risk.
- Ensure the bank’s operational risk practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- **Risk Reporting and Technology Integration**:

- Contribute to the improvement of the risk reporting process, making it more efficient and insightful.
- Utilize new technologies to enhance risk reporting and monitoring capabilities.

**Skills and experience**
- Ability to provide insightful analysis and recommendations to improve the Bank’s operational risk profile.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in operational risk management within the banking sector.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing global teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
