**Your day to day**

Join us as our new **Accountant - Accounts Receivable**:
For InterContinental Genève and Crowne Plaza Geneva, your main duties will be to:

- Process and send the invoices for the folios of the different outlets.
- Process credit cards and ensure that the amounts collected on the PMS system (Opera) are the same.
- Respond to claims from credit card organizations.
- Process and charge the payments received to the accounts.
- Follow the payment of the invoices and send reminders if necessary
- Verify the amounts invoiced for banquets and events with the forecasts of the Banquet and Conference Department and with the BEO functions.
- Check and manager the gratuities.
- Archive all credit card and Front Office payments.
- Prepare and send final invoices according to IHG procedures and customer requests and make the necessary changes.
- Check receipts and invoices.
- Follow up the procedure for the payment of commissions to travel agencies.
- Prepare certain account and balance sheet statements.

**What we need from you**

With a higher degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position in a hotel establishment of the same category and size.

You are fluent in English and French, at a C1 level minimum.

Excellent computer skills (especially Excel) and knowledge of Opera are required. A knowledge of ABACUS and Simphony is appreciable.

You are recognised for your rigor, your mathematical thinking and your capacity to work in a team. You have a sense of discretion and confidentiality.

This position is opened to Swiss citizens and work permit holders as well as EU passport holders.
