Accountant - 12 Months (F/m/d)

This position is initially planned for 12 Months, with the option of a permanent contract extension.

**Tasks**:

- Responsible for a diverse variety of finance tasks within our Centralized Accounting Services (CAS)
- Be a part of ongoing improvements in AP / AR department in alignment with CAS
- Responsible for invoice postings
- Responsible for VAT and Intrastat reports
- Responsible for payment run
- Contact Person for vendors in Western Europe and internal stakeholders
- Responsible for dunning processes
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing bank payments
- Support in various projects with CAS
- Responsible for sub-ledger accounts in SAP including all necessary tasks (booking of incoming / outgoing payments, clearing, dunning, GR/IR reconciliation, clearing,)
- To suggest changes to internal department procedures as identified and to be involved in the continuous improvement of processes
- Plan, organize and manage own workload with colleagues to ensure your contribution so that the monthly financial process is achieved in timely and accurate manner.
- Responsible for the separate components such as sub-ledger accounts and IC reconciliations, and where appropriate follow up.

**Profile**:

- Commercial education and further education in Finance
- Prior work experience in an international finance environment in a finance department
- Strong knowledge in SAP FI all other modules are an asset
- Fluent in Italian and English or German, French is an asset
- Good IT skills and confident in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word
- Accounting experience with different countries in Europe
- Good organizational and workload management skills specifically with the ability to prioritize own work and reprioritize when necessary
- Be flexible regarding workload and time optimization
