**Marketing Manager - CropScience Switzerland - Fluent in German (M/F/d)**

As Marketing Manager for the local CropScience Business in Switzerland, you will be responsible for a broad set of local marketing activities that drive the growth of our Seeds, Crop Protection and Biologicals business. This involves tactical and operational marketing activities related to each annual campaign as well as contribution toward more strategic activities. You will have regular contact with the sales team, helping their sales effectiveness & excellence, with customers as well as internal stakeholders, e.g. in the supply chain and development functions.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Preparing annual campaigns and guiding the sales team with technical and marketing advice throughout the season
- Defining content for Marketing Materials (Seeds, Crop Protection, Biologics) and marketing communication activities across various communication channels (e.g. online, brochures, leaflets)
- Building strategic plans for Crop Protection and Seeds Portfolio in Switzerland to ensure longer term strategic opportunities are captured
- Contributing to portfolio lifecycle management process and leading launch preparations for new products
- Liaising with Regulatory & Field Solutions to develop the portfolio and ensure on-time launch of new innovations
- Responding to technical and operational customer inquiries which cannot be addressed by frontline staff (sales reps, customer service)
- Participation in S&OP process as key interface to Supply Chain team

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Fluent in German & English, French is a real plus
- University Degree, preferably in Agriculture, with track record in sales, marketing and/or business development in the Ag Industry
- Technical Agricultural knowledge & a deep understanding of the Swiss Agricultural market across all portfolio areas (Seeds, Crop Protection & Biologicals) with a minimum of 5 years work experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence & network to guide the local sales team and collaborate with the team within North-West Europe and EMEA
- Demonstrated problem solving skills to analyze market trends and develop plans responding to changing market needs
- Ability to develop and implement successful campaign plans including marketing communications considering both technical and commercial aspects
