For our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are seeking a talented professional. This innovative organization stands at the forefront of drug discovery and development, specializing in advanced compound characterization and formulation sciences that bridge the critical gap between early research and clinical development phases.

**Your Responsibilities**
- ** Develop and optimize** pharmaceutical formulations through independent experimental design and execution in compound characterization
- ** Conduct comprehensive analytical investigations** including physicochemical characterization using advanced techniques such as DSC, TGA, XRPD, and DVS
- ** Execute formulation screening activities** for solution and suspension systems, including visual assessment and stability characterization
- ** Support scale-up processes** and manage material supply for pre-clinical pharmacokinetic and toxicology studies
- ** Operate and maintain** sophisticated laboratory instrumentation including HPLC systems and analytical equipment
- ** Ensure strict compliance** with safety protocols and quality standards in chemical handling and hazardous material management

**Your Profile**
- ** Certified Laboratory Technician** or University degree (BSc/MSc) in Formulation Sciences, Analytics, Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, or Material Sciences
- ** Proven expertise** in small-scale material handling and pharmaceutical laboratory operations
- ** Strong technical skills** in wet chemistry techniques (HPLC/UPLC) and powder characterization analytics
- ** Experience in HPLC method development** and stability testing highly valued
- ** Excellent organizational abilities** with structured problem-solving approach and adaptability to dynamic environments
- ** Outstanding collaboration skills** with proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- ** Fluent English** proficiency essential (German/French advantageous)
