Principal Scientist Formulation Development

Our international client in Basel is looking for a professional for a position with following **responsibilities**:

- Support of drug product formulation development services for parenteral products
- Design and execute formulation studies.
- Plan and perform characterization studies for liquid and lyophilized parenteral drug products of biologics, peptides and small molecules.
- Support laboratory activities by providing, designing and reviewing study protocols.
- Author technical documents and support preparation of regulatory documentation.

**Key requirements**:

- Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields
- Significant work experience in biotech or pharma industry
- Experience with technical issues and requirements for development of drug product formulation
- Knowledge of lyophilization, primary packaging, aseptic product manufacture (protein or vaccine drug products or protein analytics is desirable)
- Experience in formulation of ATMPs, including gene therapies using viral vectors and their regulatory landscape
