Network Security Team Lead

The Network & Security team based in Geneva is part of the Global IT Infrastructure team and is responsible for the overall design, deployment, optimization, and day-to-day operations of all aspects of the group-wide network and security environment.

Our client has undertaken a huge amount of upgrade work over the last 3 years and they are now completing the final elements within the NetSec environment.

This role is initially 50% management and 50% engineering however the plan is to do 80% management and 20% engineering.

**Job description**

This position will be required to actively complete daily operations, troubleshooting and maintenance as well as designing, implementing, configure and monitoring network & security solutions across the company.

This role requires a combination of excellent problem-solving skills as well as a thorough working knowledge of network administration & architecture up to and including current cloud networking technologies.

**Combined working knowledge of at least 4 of the following will be required**:

- Deploy & troubleshoot functional networks (LAN, WAN and VPN) based on Cisco technologies
- Monitor network performance and integrity using PRTG, Nagios and standard monitoring software
- Networking & security technologies across multiple locations using Palo Alto Firewalls with integrated IPS
- Exposure to Cisco WAN technologies, Riverbed, secure AWS networking environments & F5 load balancers
- Experience of Aruba wireless LAN technologies and SoHo VPN solutions
- Deep understanding of cloud security and networking technologies within AWS
- Design and delivery of appropriate network or security solutions in response to business needs
- Global team collaboration across EMEA, Americas and APAC
- Project-based work delivering new technologies, operational enhancements and new site deployments
- Organising work priorities for the team and basic team management
- Mentoring team members and helping them with goal delivery and personal growth

**Technical Expertise**:

- Extensive Routing and Switching (Nexus, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, DMVPN, VXLAN, VPC, CSR1000v, ASR, NSX, ACI)
- NAC (Clearpass, ISE)
- Firewall (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto)
- Monitoring & alerting solutions (ELK, PRTG, Prometheus, Nagios)
- Load balancer F5 LTM, GTM, APM, ASM
- Wireless (Aruba controller, Mobility Master, Cisco)
- AWS networking and advanced security
- SSL based VPN solutions
- WAN optimization (Riverbed), Voice over IP
- Cloud based technology options within AWS and Azure
- Good knowledge of System and Infra (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Fabric Interconnect, VMWare

**Profile/Desired Competencies**:

**Salary**: CHF150,000.00 - CHF160,000.00 per year
