**Biologics Commercial Director, Europe and Canada**

**Location: Baar, Switzerland**

Responsible for planning and leading the TA commercial operations for Europe and Canada Commercial consistent with global guidelines from the TA Brand Lead.

This position plays a pivotal role in delivering all Therapy Area strategies and tactics to improve growth for the portfolio for EU 6 large markets (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and Canada) and areas (Nordic, Western/ Southern Europe, Central & Eastern Europe & Baltic states). You will be based in the Regional offices in Zug, Switzerland.

**Core Responsibilities**

**1. Influences Global strategies and priorities to ensure they met the EUCAN Region needs. Provides a single voice for EUCAN within the prioritised Global Brand Teams and Global Capability Teams**
- Ensure and share consolidated EUCAN perspective as appropriate to shape EUCAN priorities and direction for must win brands/portfolio based on insight from prioritised countries.
- Champion EUCAN needs with global teams, influence global strategy and targets for the benefit of EUCAN and act as active member of GBT for must-win brands

**2.** **Supports Global strategy implementation into the EUCAN markets for TA alongside regional medical team**
- Define the TA priorities for EUCAN in collaboration with EUCAN LT, Medical and P&MA, with clarity on MC expectations and ensure prioritised countries have appropriate (& globally aligned) strategies and plans in place that are being driven effectively.
- Organise and coordinate all above market support functions to drive improved execution against the defined TA priorities the markets.
- Strong 1:1 business partnering with the BuDs/CPs to provide support in finding solutions to emerging business needs

**3.** **Deliver the EUCAN revenue targets and core metrics**
- Partner with BUDs/ CPs from priority markets to challenge and support improving the potential of the relevant brands in priority markets
- Define performance monitoring frameworks and metrics and ensure that clear, consistent and appropriate brand metrics are in place and utilised across all MCs
- Provide input into regional level QBRs and an informed view on core assumptions to support core financial planning exercises including RBU2, MTP and Phased Budget.
- Provide high level assessment of opportunities and risks to senior regional team

**4. Lead Pre launch planning for EUCAN including Early Assets alongside regional medical team**
- Alongside global, creation of Pre launch plan and assessment of pre launch metrics
- Ensure MC launch readiness for future must win products in prioritised countries
- Ensure EUCAN markets utilise and adhere to consistent pre launch planning frameworks
- Lead Early Asset teams across EUCAN
- Feed in to and consolidate MC3 analysis on relevant early assets.

**What experience are we looking for?**
- Excellent influencing and people leadership skills. Capabilities including proven ability to influence without authority
- Recent and extensive therapy area knowledge
- Proven marketing, sales and commercial leadership experience, resulting in broad commercial competence
- Experience of developing and implementing portfolio/brand strategy
- Strong drive for performance and project management track record
- Understanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products in Europe as well as Europe Healthcare environment
- Mobility (frequent business trips)
- Proficiency in English
- Ideally experience as a CP in a medium market or BUD large market
