Job Summary

Avantor is looking for dedicated and proactive Team Leader for our Lab Services, managing our team working onsite a very important pharmaceutical client in Basel

What we’re looking for- High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or undergraduate degree in business or science related field is preferred- 4-5 years applicable experience in customer services/purchasing/or account management- Knowledge of Information Access and ERP Systems; intermediate Microsoft Office Knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic understanding of Microsoft Access- Excellent customer service skills; display a professional can do attitude- English & German necessary

How you will thrive and create an impact- Responsible for the day-to-day activities of an assigned group of onsite lab services team members.- Monitors key department metrics to deliver high level service to customers.- Handles customer questions and issues, researches and resolves customer problems.- Prepares schedules to cover departmental duties.- Manages performance goals including appraisals, mentoring and coaching. May assist higher level supervisor.
